Dementia-Specific Wing
We have expanded our wings and are pleased to announce that the Dementia-Specific building is now open. This secure building is located on the ground floor of the home and caters for 6 residents. Each bedroom includes its own ensuite and balcony.
The Dementia-Specific area also includes it’s own lounge room which opens up onto a beautiful patio, and a BBQ area can be booked by families to celebrate a special occasion. A small and quaint garden is being developed for residents to enjoy. The Leisure Lifestyle team together with our residents are looking forward to adding their own magic touch to the garden with colourful, bright plants.
In addition to gardening activities, this wing will have its own dementia-specific monthly program, designed by our experienced Diversional Therapists and will enhance resident wellbeing and quality of life.
