ACCOMMODATION

3 Bed	27 m²	Does not feature an en-suite bathroom. However most of the 3 bedrooms have direct access to a private shower/toilet.

All rooms are kept clean and tidy by the expert staff at Fairmont Aged Care. Residents are encouraged to bring in their favourite furniture piece and mementos of earlier years. Furniture is in keeping with the style of the building and includes:

Built in wardrobes.
Built in bed-side lockers including lockable drawers.
Flat Screen Televisions (each room has its own TV provided).
Comfortable lounge style chair.
Visitor’s chair.
Reverse cycle air-conditioning, which is temperature controlled, is included in each room.
Resident’s beds are electronic to enable care to be delivered with the least disruption to the resident. Each bed also has the latest nurse-call paging system.

All rooms have en-suites

Double Rooms
3 x Doubles have a private en-suite and 7 double rooms have no en-suite facilities.

3 Bedrooms
3 rooms have en-suites which are shared between the three people accommodated in the room. Three 3 Bedrooms have no en-suite facilities, but have private access to bathrooms.

COMMON AREAS

There is a bright lounge room on the ground floor, measuring 50 m2 . This particular room opens onto a patio-area and also serves as the main activities room. On the first floor there is a sunroom and deck where residents can enjoy the afternoon sun and a favourite book.

Residents also have access to a number of outside entertainment areas which include a balcony on the southern side on the first floor measuring 10 m2. The facility also has a BBQ-area and traditional BBQ gatherings are held on a regular basis. The garden areas all have benches and planter gardens have been installed to enable residents to grow fruit and vegetables.
